Origination

Origination is a group of link where you will find every operation related to your originators or customers. Originators are those who participate to originate a call. He can be an end user who uses a telephony device to originate a call like Soft Phone, IP Phone or calling cards. A customer who sends you calls from other Switches or Gateways also is an originator for your switch as well. In a word, originators are those who send traffic towards your switch. An originator can be both user password authenticated and IP authenticated. We will discuss authentication procedure for originators for SyncSwitch in details later on of this chapter.
