NAS Sources
NAS stands for “Network Attached Storage” which means a data source which is in a remote place and accessible from the network. SyncSwitch can collect data from third party NAS and process them to present a readable report like CDR and Billing. SyncSwitch can act as a billing for various NAS like Gateways, Gatekeepers and other switches. As well as SyncSwitch can act as an authenticator for various NAS sources.
NAS sources are mostly calling card setup in telecommunication perspective. There might be a remote calling card gateway which can itself run calling card procedure with IVR, routing and calling steps. But calling card gateways, in general, are unable to create calling card Accounts/PIN’s. SyncSwitch can generate calling card Accounts/PIN’s as well as Voucher PIN’s to recharge Accounts/PIN’s. So this type of third party calling card gateways can be setup and can use authentication and billing procedures from SyncSwitch.
Along with the previous type, third party calling card gateways can be setup directly with SyncSwitch. In that case they can use SyncSwitch Calling Card mood with full featured IVR menu, authentication procedure, calling procedure, Routing intelligence and billing options.
SyncSwitch can work with any NAS source that is in accordance with SyncSwitch standard.
