Add User
You will get the option to add a new device user account. You can set various variables for a device user account just as you like. It gives you great flexibility to set your account with various variable and facilities.
To add a device user, click on the add user tab. There is a form Appear to fill up. The form has three parts:
1. Basic information
2. Assignments
3. Limits
In Basic Information section, following fields have to fill up with basic information about the device user.

Name

Fill this field with the desired user name which will be used as pin
|

Secret
|

|
Enter the password for the user, has created earlier. These fields are very important for pins.
|
|
Check Box
|
:
|
Now the check box appears and asks-”Do you want to create web login for this device user same as provided user password?” You can check the box or leave uncheck. This user and password will be useful when you will try to login to switch web Interface for this device user.

Account Status
|

|
With this option you can enable or disable the device user.
|
|
Expire Date
|
:
|
By this Option, you can set expire date of this device user. The device user will be out of order just from the moment of expire you will set for this Device User.

Protocol
|

|
SyncSwitch do support SIP, H323 and IAX2 protocol. You can let the customers to send call with any one of this protocol. You can select your desired protocol from here for the Device User.

Incoming Prefix
|

|
SyncSwitch let you to set per end point based incoming prefix Which gives you greater control over the end user traffic and assure proper management. If you set 777 as prefix, for example, the user of this device user needs to send you traffic with 777 as technical prefix which will be set before the dialing string. If customer is dialing to India, for example, with the incoming Prefix 777, he needs to dial like this 7779198XXXXXXXXX.

Account Group

When you will create bulk device users in a batch, there will be an account group name for every batch. You can create the current device user as a member of any existing account group or by default you can create the account for default account group.

Routing Group
|

|
From this drop down menu, you can select specific routing group for the device user. This option gives you the complete control over the traffic of this device user. You can send traffic from this device user through the selected routing table.

Rate Chart
|

|
You can select preferred rate chart for this account from this dropdown. A rate chart contains all allowed destinations and rate Planning for the device user
|
|
Starting Credit
|

|
Starting credit is the amount you want to allow for this device user at start. This can be prepaid or post paid depending on your decision.
|
|
Currency
|
:
|
From this dropdown you can select the preferred currency for the device user you are creating. You can add more currency from Tools link. We will discuss about currency more in Section 5.9.1.

|
Credit limit
|
:
|
Credit limit is the amount up to which negative value you allow This device user to use. This is not mandatory to allow credit Limit for each and every account. This will depend on your Business policy.
|
|
Call Limit
|
:
|
Call Limit is the number up to which number of concurrent calls you allow this device user to send.
|
Now click on the “Create User” Button, our desired Device User will be created.
