Add Routing Groups
From this link, you can add / create new routing groups / tables. While adding or creating a new routing group, you will need to provide following information and decisions-
Name
:
You need to put the name you want for the routing group here.
Dial Plan
:
Dial Plan is the detailed planning of the dialing procedure for a call from origination hit to terminating the call to the gateway. We will discuss about dial plan in details in specific section. By default SyncSwitch provides three dial plan named Wholesale, Retail and Calling Card. Wholesale dial plan is for customers who will not generate calls directly from the switch. But they will send calls from other switch or IP(s). Retail dial plan is for retailer who will originate traffic by using this switch. Retail dial plan contains full IVR support for the calling card, IP Phone or other methods of call origination.

Status
:
You can decide the status of the routing group you are going to create by selecting from the dropdown whether it is enabled or disabled.
Fail over
:
With this option, it sends back a call to a new gateway if it fails from other gateway for any reason. Fail over of SyncSwitch gives you multi level fail over facility so that your calls won’t fail once it has hit to the Switch if you have enough alternative routes.
Number of Gateway
:
You can send a single call to multiple Gateways at a time. Call will hit to all the gateways and be connected with that one which can provide the fastest connection. This will ensure that your calls are getting the most quality route with lowest Post Dialing Delay (PDD).
Connection Timeout
:
You can define from this option that for how long a call will be ringing or trying to get connected. If you set 60 second here, a call will be automatically hanged up after 60 second if the called party doesn’t response by this time.
Maximum Duration
:
From this field, you can define for which maximum time a call can run in the switch. If you set here 3600 second, which means no call will sustain more than 60 min. If any call reaches to the maximum duration, it will be hanged up automatically.

Policy
:
SyncSwitch comes up with customized routing policy. Yes, you can decide now how you like to send traffic to your termination ends. SyncSwitch provides following policies-
Profit Protection
:
Profit protection is a feature that gives you flexibility to ensure that in any destination, you are not facing loss. If any route buying rate is grater than selling rate, profit protection will not let the call get through with that route. It will choose the least cost route in that case.
