Least Cost Routing of SyncSwitch measures the cost of all available route and create a priority table. When a call reach to the switch, if Least Cost Routing (LCR) is enabled for the traffic, SyncSwitch will send traffic to the cheapest route first and then follow the LCR priority. This feature helps to maximize profit with ensuring quality as SyncSwitch judges quality with LCR as well.
Q. What is Quality Based Routing?
SyncSwitch measures quality for every available route on basis of ASR, ACD and PDD of any route create a priority list. When Quality Based Routing (QBR) is enabled for any traffic, it will send hits to the best quality route first and then downward of the priority list on basis of availability of channels. Quality Based Routing table updates in every minute. You need not to think about your traffics if they are going to a good route or if they are getting connected properly if you enable this feature, as it will automatically maintain your route quality, if you have available optional routes.
Force Routing enables your to send your traffic exactly to which route you want to send. SyncSwitch will not show any intelligence on routing if forced routing is enabled. Force Routing works on the priority table your set manually.

Least Cost and Quality Routing is combination of Least Cost Routing and Quality Based Routing. In this plan, both Cost and Quality is measured. It will not look only to quality or only to least cost. It will always maintain a standard of quality and price to send traffic to a specific route.
Q. What is DID and how it works with SyncSwitch?
In order for people connected to the traditional PSTN network to call people connected to VoIP networks, DID numbers from the PSTN network are obtained by the administrators of the VoIP network, and assigned to a gateway in the VoIP network. The gateway will then route calls incoming from the PSTN across the IP network to the appropriate VoIP user. Similarly, calls originating in the VoIP network will appear to users on the PSTN as originating from one of the assigned DID numbers.
SyncSwitch does support calls from PSTN network through DID and works as a gateway in the VoIP network and forward or terminate the call to the proper destination with terminating devices connected with it.
