Q. Which type of server is needed for hosting SyncSwitch?
SyncSwitch can be hosted on any standard computer. But performance and number of concurrent calls depend on the resource of the computer. So, for good performance and specific number of concurrent calls, need server with good and a minimum category configuration. We recommend server with at least Pentium 4 standard CPU. Server must have to have dedicated bandwidth with a standard up link for good quality and performance. SyncSwitch works nicely with any distribution of UNIX. We recommend FreeBSD as Operating System for SyncSwitch.

Generally we recommend customer to purchase his own server and host it in a suitable place with world standard hosting facility for uninterrupted service. But if customer feels bothered to host his own server and maintain that, we can help by hosting server in various territory of the world, maintaining and administrating them. There is a monthly charge for server hosting in co location and administration.

Yes, we will give all updates except some separately priced modules on regular basis on the server after selling the software. There will be no charge for it.

SyncSwitch is avaialable with single license for single site, single server installation. Single license can't be installed on multiple servers. For installing on multiple servers, need to subscribe for multiple licenses.
